2025 REGISTRATION
There are a number of new comps this season. Here is whats on offer
You can play 2 games per Round. But cannot be borrowed for a 3rd game. There is only 1 registration fee and you can play both Friday and Saturday or in 2 teams on a Saturday.
Ie. Sara can play in her girls team and also play in a mixed team each week.

Our Pricing
At Menai we are really proud that we keep our club fee at minimum. Total rego includes the following fees handed down to us. Netball Australia, Netball NSW, Sutherland Association (SSNA), Club Fee (MHNC).
Every club is required to charge these fees to every player. Each club sets their own club fee to help cover costs like equipment, courts, electricity for lights on courts.
Net Skills
(5,6,7yrs)

Boys and Girls welcome. Turning 5yrs, 6yrs, 7yrs in 2025. It’s a chance to learn the netball basics, get outside and make some friends.

You can use your ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHER however no change is given to active kids voucher amount.
8-9YRS

Boys and Girls welcome. The age you are turning in 2025 is the age group you must register with in.
This Game focuses on practising skills and playing modified games using a smaller ball.

All new players to the club will need 2x colour Passport sized photos.
You can request for players to play together, so long as each parent issues the same request. These requests will be considered.

Umpiring Fee 2025
For the past few years Menai Hawks has covered all Junior umpiring fees for the entire season. This year we are unable to do that again so like our Seniors do, each player will need to pay a one off payment of $32 that will be collected by the team manager at the start of the season.
This will cover the fee paid to an umpire for each of your child's netball games, throughout the season.
18yrs+ All Seniors

Whole teams to our club or can find you a spot in an existing team if there is availability.

Coaches
All our coaches are given the opportunity to attend a coaching course that the club pays for. Last year we had former NSW Swift and Australian Diamond Susan Pettit run our coaches course.
Throughout the season our coaches are supported and with drills and extra help if they need.
We love our volunteers and encourage anyone to put forward their interest if they would like to coach.

Umpires
We pride ourself on our fantastic Umpires program. Every umpire is given a mentor and sup[ported all season to ensure they are confident and taught the correct rules from the very start. The club also provides a Umpires course which is run by Anton who is a AA Badged umpire. We strive to ensure each umpire is trained and can continue their education through the badged process if they desire.

Grading 2025
Sunday 16th Feb 2025.
At Menai Indoor Centre
Make sure you are registered or have put your child's name on the registration list to join a team.
Individual requests that a player or parent/guardian may want the Grading Committee to consider throughout the grading process and selection of teams will only be considered on the condition that the application is received in writing to the Grading Coordinator and Grading Committee via the MHNC Secretary prior to practical grading, citing valid reasons for the request. An application does not guarantee approval.
Times:
9am - 10am Turning 8yrs and 9yrs in 2025
10.15am - 12.15pm Turning 10yrs and 11yrs in 2025
1pm - 3pm Turning 12yrs and 13yrs in 2025
3pm - 4.30pm Turning 14yrs and 15yrs in 2025.
16yrs - Snrs will be paper graded.
