A huge day ahead for the Menai Hawks family as our teams take the court in the SSNA Finals Series! 🏐

Let’s get around our players, coaches, managers, umpires and families as they represent the black and gold this weekend.

Our delightful B2 came screaming out of the block in quarter 1 and commanded a strong lead from the get go. Never giving up they maintained the lead the entire game and played with pride. Well done to B2s and best of luck in the grand final next week!! 🖤💛✨️

Our C4s chipped away all game before pulling away strongly in the final quarter. You couldn’t tell their shooters only became defenders this year out of necessity. The connection down the court was beautiful to watch. Off to the grand final next week! We can’t wait to see what you can do!! 💪🏼🏆

B1s bowed out in a final quarter nail biter. Only just unable to hang on they played their hearts out until the end, only falling short in the final 10 minutes. Well done B1s for a mighty season! 👏🏼

The special thing about this 13 div 2 team is the way the consistently lift eachother up and never stop trying. Though they fought until the end, the result didn’t go their way. A stellar effort from a stellar team 💪🏼✨️

The hardest fought game for our lovely 12 div 4 team. It was neck and neck the whole game and very exciting to watch. A draw at full time took us into the most epic extra time battle. Eventually going down by only 1 goal the girls never gave up. The Hawkie community are very proud of our 12 div 4 team and the season that came before today! 🖤💛

12T1 played the best game of the season. We played a team that was regraded from Dv1 to Dv2. We were up for the first 3 quarters but unfortunately the final result wasn’t in our favour. We lost 23-27. Our first year in Dv2 and we made the finals. I couldn’t be more prouder of these girls. Until next season 🤍🖤💛
